The FTTH Council Europe
The FTTH Council Europe is an industry organisation with the mission to accelerate the deployment in FTTH by education and promotion. The FTTH Council Europe represents all major FTTH industry players in Europe and has more than 130 members. The annual conference of the organisation is the flagship event for FTTH in Europe with more than 2.600 participants in Lisbon in 2010.

The Idea
FTTH is a future-proof infrastructure and technology, which is seen as state-of-the-art by all major broadband stakeholders. Nevertheless: even the best technology can be made better through research and innovation.

The FTTH Council Europe wants to support all persons, institutions and companies which contribute their work and ideas to make FTTH even better. The organisation therefore organises the “FTTH Council Europe Innovation Award”.
